Our Story

I am Martin. I was born in 1970 and I live in Denmark and I am an amateur photographer.

On and off, I have been doing photography for many, many years (I believe I started out in 1992) but until recently, I never really saw it as more than a way to "document" where you've been travelling. After a way too long break, in August 2020, I picked up photography again as a way to unwind from my normal dayjob. I am a firm believer of doing "something else" when you are not working and I find that photography is a great way to slow down and focus on the creative process involved in capturing images. Especially with my landscapes I try to convey a story; this can be how I felt at the time or simply the mood / atmosphere of the place of shooting.

Besides shooting photos I have a great passion for mountainbiking. I prefer high-speed descends with many turns, rocks, jumps and roots. The gnarlier, the better - to a degree at least. I have been abroad several times with friends to ride in exactly this sort of terrain; Denmark is not flat as a pancake but we do not have enough mountains (in fact, none at all. And no guys, Himmelbjerget is not a mountain - not a real one any way ;)

I have been encouraged to try to sell a few prints if someone would be interested.

I believe I have now reached a point where that might happen.
